This delicious black tea is our first foray into blending teas right here in Texas. A bold, full-bodied black tea, Rakkasan Breakfast is perfect morning, noon or night (if you can handle the caffeine). What makes this aromatic selection truly special is its global character: The blend is derived from three superior black teas hand-picked in the Colombian Andes, from ancient wild tea trees in Vietnam's far northern mountains and in Bangladesh, just across the border from Darjeeling. You'll be hard-pressed to stop after a single cup!

Brewing instructions
Amount: 2 grams of loose tea per cup of water (a pinch)
Temperature: 212 ̊ (A full, rolling boil)
Steep time: 3 - 3.25 minutes

Good all-around black at a good price

This is a very good all-around black tea at a very good price. I drink it straight in the morning, or sometimes blended with a Bergamot-scented Ceylon.

All Rakkasan tea is amazing. It’s my favorite tea company because the quality is exceptional and the mission of the company means that when I drink tea, I’m contributing to the well being of the people who grew the tea and helping a post-conflict area regain strength. This is a tasty and robust blend for breakfast that is delicious with milk.

Love Rakkasan Teas

I discovered Rakkasan teas a couple of years ago and I've fallen in love. Their teas have an amazing, pure flavor. I recommend them to everyone. My favorite is a hot Rakkasan tea latte. I have one every morning. I'm so happy with the many available tea selections, and also that I'm able to support my local (Dallas), Veteran-owned business.
